  Main duties are to strategically work on revenue reimbursement for the Oncology Service line. This includes staying up to date on all payor changes and authorization requirements, new FDA approvals, NCCN guidelines, biosimilars and preferred drug brands. In addition, growing our Free Drug/Copay Assistance program, insurance optimization, helping with government programs such as Medicaid Expansion, YHI and Medicare Plans. Developing training for biomarkers, FoundationOne, Genomic Oncotype and NMDP donor screening tests. Working closely with physicians to create better workflows and processes. Developing training materials and holding training sessions on Medical Necessity and Drug Assistance in Oncology. Performing routine audits and reviewing high dollar denial accounts. Helping with implementing Specialty Surgical Authorization team (Breast Care Services and Pediatric Specialty Authorizations). Part of the team working to help bring and implement CAR T-Cell Therapy to our health system to better serve our cancer community. Developed and maintaining PowerBI dashboard to display Financial Advocate productivity. Helping manage a robust group of Financial Advocates that support Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Surgical Oncology, Pediatric Oncology, Blood and Marrow Transplant, Hemophilia, and Liver and Pancreatic Diseases. Managing attendance, PTO requests, TASS and approving timecards.
