      Nephrology trainee at a tertiary renal unit serving a population of over a million. Tertiary level care provided includes managing acute and chronic renal transplant, glomerulonephritis and dialysis patients, as well as the management of chronic kidney disease.Sub-investigator on clinical trials including: DUPLEX, PROTECT and RECOVERYAccomplishments: ESENeph, Three publications (PMID: 31321201, 31010484, 30783670) Gained experience at a tertiary level renal unit, including managing acute and chronic glomerular diseases, transplants, chronic kidney disease, acute kidney injury and prevalent dialysis patients.Sub-investigator on clinical trials including: ADVOCATE, BEAT LUPUS and DAPA-CKDAccomplishments: Refer to Honorary Clinical Fellow Post Completed medical rotations in a tertiary Coronary Care Unit, tertiary Acute Stroke Unit, Respiratory Admissions Unit, and tertiary Rheumatology department.Accomplishments: MRCP(UK), two prizes, two publications, two national presentations and completed two Quality Improvement Projects. Rotated through a a tertiary nephrology centre and an acute tertiary level cardio-respiratory admissions unit. Championed efforts to promote quality improvement methods among junior doctors. Accomplishments: Post graduate certificate in medical leadership, one publication (PMID: 25212943), one presentation, one quality improvement project.

      Awarded competitive funding of over £230,000 by KRUK to research reversible disease mechanisms mediating IgA nephropathy, the World's commonest primary kidney disease. Techniques employed includes laser capture micro-dissection, next generation RNA sequencing, bioinformatics, cell-cell interaction modelling and novel in vitro models.Accomplishments: 8 Publications,1 Book Chapter (In press) Worked in the Mayer IgA Nephropathy (IgAN) laboratories with Professor Jonathan Barratt, investigating the role of monocytes and macrophages in mediating inflammation in IgAN.Accomplishments: MRes (Distinction), Book Chapter (In press), three publications (PMID: 30756248, 29423198, Journal of Kidney Care. 2017 Jul; 2(4):205-211), KRUK Grant award (£238,000).
