  Defining, developing and delivering an organisational change programme within the 2000 strong TfL Engineering Directorate. This involved extensive engagement to get buy in at senior and executive level, as well as with Trade Unions and those impacted. The result is a reformed Project Engineering function that will enhance capability, improve safety and reduce costs as well as provide clear leadership and accountability for this critical CapEx delivery role.Entirely separate to this secondment, I also co-produced a special 'Engineering Icons' tube map for National Engineering Day 2023 in partnership with the Royal Academy of Engineering. This map celebrates the role engineering plays in supporting society, and aims to inspire the next generation. Show less Project Engineer working on a variety of projects with varying responsibility. Highlights include:- Client engineering lead, CDM Principal Designer and NEC3 Supervisor for the £8m Finsbury Park Step Free Access and Western Station Entrance fit-out project, managing the project through detailed design, construction, bringing into use, and handover.- Client engineering lead and NEC3 Supervisor for the £60m Colindale Station Redevelopment project, which aimed to be the first TfL project that is compliant to PAS2080 (Carbon Management in Infrastructure). Managed the project through conceptual and detailed design (RIBA stages 2 to 4).- Project lead for an industry award-winning escalator 'Smart-step' monitoring device trial as part of the £600m Bank Station Capacity Upgrade project. Responsible for all aspects of the workstream including procurement, technical assurance and installation. I also wrote a computer programme using Python, C# and R to automate data gathering, analysis and distribution to key stakeholders. Show less
