  As the first and last point of contact for ranch guests, I played an important role in the guest experience. I provided a professional and friendly face upon arrival, welcoming guests to the ranch and answering any questions they may have about Brush Creek Ranch, the local area, and wildlife. I safely transported the guests (and their luggage) both short and long distances, catering to their every need and providing a luxury experience. Once on the ranch, I aided in off-roading tours using Polaris Rangers, as well as guiding fly fishing trips around the property.Working in transportation allowed me to connect with almost every department on the property, providing me with keen insight into the inner-workings of multiple departments and demonstrated the importance of communication and collaberation within the Hospitality Industry.   This rotation was created for me by the VP of Hospitality in order to provide me with diverse operational experience. During the Night Audit portion of my rotation I analyzed inconsistencies in guest accounts, made corrections and ensured that all charges were posted correctly. Additionally, I applied the same process to all house accounts (Food and Beverage, Activities, Mercantile, …). These reports, an end-of-the-day summary, and an overview of the next day’s guest movements were sent to all managers and executives. In the early morning I also served as the front desk concierge. Within House Keeping I served as a houseman providing support to the housekeepers and cleaning public spaces. I coordinated daily activities, accommodating changes for in-house guests as well as creating custom itineraries for guests and groups prior to their arrival on property.
