      Served as a special staff officer to the commander on all matters pertaining to CBRN defense. Responsible for ensuring the unit is properly trained in individual survival measures, CBRN Team operations, Installation Emergency Management (EM) and decontamination procedures. Served as USMC CBRN Defense School Deputy Director providing management oversight and direction for instructors, students, and the schools Program of Instruction (POI). Advised Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), Marine Air Wing (MAW), Force Service Support Group (FSSG), Division and Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) commanders on CBRN defense matters. Advised the commander on the threat and hazards of chemical warfare agents, Low-Level Radiation (LLR), Toxic Industrial Materials (TIMs) and Releases Other Than Attack (ROTA). Planned and coordinated the logistical requirements and resource management to support CBRN operations and training exercises. Led a task review board to identify and codify the individual and collective level CBRN/EM tasks required for CBRN/EM enlisted and officers.USMC CBRN representative on the Inter-service Training Advisory Board. Planned and participated in CBRN defense exercises with allied forces. Established, coordinated and supervised all Joint NBC Reconnaissance System (JNBCRS) New Equipment Training Team activities. Provided SME support to JNBCRS at product system design reviews and Test and Evaluation (T&E) events.
