      Roles and responsibilitiesHealth and Safety officer on various projects including; Roadways, bridges, pipelines (Sewage and water), metering, housing, railways, waterways, public projects, private projects and DBO projects. All aspects of safety from commencement to completion date on each project.My time was 50% site based and 50% in the company head office.Site duties included:Conducting regular audits of sites and subsequently providing reports noting observations and recommendations that must be addressed by Site Management. Liaising with the Senior Management, Site Agents, Site Safety Representatives and all company staff providing advice and information relating to Health & Safety legislation.Accompanying Health and Safety Authority Inspectors during site visits. Participating in safety meetings with all contractual parties.Conducting site safety inductions and Health and Safety training.Conducting accident and incident investigations and compiling reports and analysis. Reviewing sub contractors site Health and Safety files. Environmental: ISO14001 Experience. Site specific environmental plans completed for every project. I was responsible for monitoring and ensuring compliance with relevant Site licenses, collection permits and applicable legislation and regulations.Office based duties included;Working within the Health and Safety department in the preparation and completion of all external safety audits completed by the company.
