      Designed a fully immersive mixed reality environment to simulate the immobility challenges for elderly patients, a Gerontechnology Education Program allows students to empathize with the challenges faced by the elderly, promoting intergenerational inclusion. Utilized design thinking to create innovative gerontechnology solutions and observe a tech firm operation.

      Aug 2023 - now

      Spearheaded the R&D of the multi-sensory mixed reality app MMRTD, which enables dementia patients to receive cognitive and physical therapy with integrated therapy approaches and multi-sensory perceptions. Collaborated with the Hong Kong Society for the Aged and Taipei Veterans General Hospital to implement the MMRTD rehab program at dementia elderly care centers. Achieved multiple international science and invention accolades, and received community services and youth impact awards. Authored and published a guidebook in English and Chinese to equip MMRTD users and their caregivers with a deeper insight into Dementia, emphasize the advantages of leveraging VR technology for rehabilitation, analyze the distinctive traits of MMRTD, and deliver a thorough overview of the application.
