      Wind Turbine Design

      I innovate on traditional wind turbine designs to enable upscaling far past traditional structural limitations. Innovations include downwind pre-aligned rotors, morphing rotors, tower fairings and compressed air energy storage. It has been shown that these innovations can reduce the capital and operating expense of a wind turbine by around one third. Additionally, it has been shown that these designs can allow for wind turbines to be constructed with energy output on the order of 10X as large as state of the art technology. Show less
