  Chairman of the Board - Norwegian Express Club.The Norwegian Express Club is a national class association organized under the Norwegian Sailing Federation. The purpose of the Express Club is to promote sail sports, as well as the Express class across the country as well as in Scandinavia.The Express Club is currently the largest class association in Norway with approximately 560 members. It also holds the record of the largest Norwegian Championship in One Design sailing with 109 competing boats in Oslo, 2014 and has maintained strong participation in the years after. The main task was to attract new and existing members to the class, promote regattas and create media attention around the class and it's activities. The task involved heavy use of social media and close collaboration with magazines such as Seilmagasinet and Seilas.The purpose of the Norwegian Express Club is to promote sail sport in Norway and attract sailors to the sport and the class.The biggest merit while holding this position was to attract 109 competing boats to the National and Nordic Championship in 2014. It is currently the largest Championship ever arranged in Norwegian sail sports with approximately 450 sailors from Sweden, Denmark, Germany and Norway. Show less
