    • The Old Vic Pub & Dinner Theatre

      Jan 1991 - Jan 1995
      Dinner Theatre/Kitchen Manager

As Dinner Theatre Manager, organized and produced dozens of shows for a broad dinner theatre clientele, including wine country tourists and the colorful pub regulars. The productions ranged from the "Old Vic Silly's" (our wacky neighborhood spoofs) and children's musicals, to classics like Chekhov and Pinter. This position dovetailed nicely with my general kitchen management duties, such as cooking, ordering, and menu development. The Old Vic also operated the elegant Lady Anne's Tea Room, serving a traditional English high tea. Show less
