  From 1993 to 2001, I taught English and social studies for grades 7-12. I spent most of that time as a Middle School teacher, and I coached JV football and varsity baseball.

  From 2001-2006, I was the Assistant Principal at Hamilton Middle School. In 2006, I transitioned to Principal at Bentheim Elementary School. From January of 2011 to June of 2013, I was also the Principal at Sandyview Elementary. In addition to my Principal duties, I have led the hiring process for elementary teachers by screening candidates, scheduling and conducting one-on-one first round interviews, and scheduling and conducting group, second-round interviews.
