  From May to August, I participated in the Management Trainee Intern program. This included learning the POS system, all financial data, management policies and procedures, and sales rep ride a longs. This internship prepares participants to be an Assistant Manager of a Sherwin-Williams store once they graduate with their undergraduate degree. Additionally, my team consisting of myself and two other interns, earned third place in the regional competition that focused on solving obstacles within the current business model.   Performed marketing and fundraising tasks alongside a committee, in order to publicize cafe opening, mission, and purpose within the community. This cafe is a donation-based, pay what you can restaurant looking to alleviate the hunger problem in northeast Missouri, as Adair County is one of the hungriest counties in Missouri. It also aims to support local farmers and foods.

I was responsible for ensuring great experiences for the prospective students and their families that visit campus, conducting group visit presentations and individual, one-on-one visits. I focused on supporting mentorship programs through operations design, program implementation support, and interventions related to participant recruitment, training, and user experience. I also served as a program manager, running point on program design, goals, and client engagement.
