      During my internship period for the gas and oil company Global Synergy Resources, I mastered my knowledge in the accounting sector, and learnt new skills and abilities. I learnt how to use the accounting program Xero: I reconciled bank transactions, drafted and sent invoices to customers and recorded bills payed. I worked with online platforms aimed at sharing the tasks of each team member, keeping the agenda up to date and completing my duties correctly and efficiently. I also managed and recorded the employee’s refunds. I took part to events where the company has been invited, building new networks of people and resources with other companies and helping with keeping in touch with the people we connected with. One of my main duties was also keeping up to date with the daily changes of the market, giving advice on the exchange rates and hedging solutions and forecasting currencies fluctuations based on the political, social and economic events happening worldwide.
