  Mani performed diverse roles as a Solution architect, project manager and Pre sales lead at Kraft foods. He led a JDA 7.4.2 package implementation, a unique combination of a Rollout, Upgrade and Implementation of JDA Demand Planning, Fulfillment and Strategy. The solution addressed the planning needs of Nabisco biscuits and the Pizza business divisions. Starting with a 3 member team, Mani built a 18 member strong team to implement the solution. As a solution architect, 1. Built a Date Sensitive Inventory (DSI) based solution in JDA Fulfillment working with Kraft business leads2. Built the batch design teaming with Kraft IT and Business process leads.3. Rolled out the demand planning, distribution planning and deployment model used by warehouses to the Biscuit and Pizza business lines.4. Guided the technical team in upgrading the master data model from 6.5.1 to 7.4.2 for Demand Planning, Fulfillment and Strategy modules.5. Defined the Load building solution on Build transportation Loads (BTL) leveraging 7.4.2 features.6.Resolved several "system exception" product issues in JDA during system testing in an extremely short time enabling the Go Live within the budgeted timeframe. He prepared the proposal and enabled Infosys win the deal to upgrade the JDA based planning solution implemented at Kraft’s Gevalia coffee division from 6.1.4 to 7.4.2. He managed a team of 22 members that included consultants from Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro and internal associates. Mani performed a key role in vendor evaluation and building a roll out strategy of the planning solution for the accelerated roll outs of the JDA solution to other business divisions of Sears and KMARTMani acted as a functional advisor for the IT team enabling the IT team to evaluate customizations and leverage standard JDA functionality in the areas of Forecast reconciliation, Parameter work bench, demand reduction, and store level forecast generation. Mani also prototyped a promotion solution using Multi Linear Regression (MLR) model contrasting the output with the promotional decomposition output of JDA promotions module. Show less
