  Founder and lead researcher of the 3D-Organic Polymer Silk (3D-OPS) team investigating the viability of a novel chemical and mechanical process to alter cloned Nephila Clavipes dragline proteins to form a bio gel used in 3D printing artificial spider silk. The artificial spider silk is further studied for possible applications in the medical fields as a new biomaterial. Oversees the success and development of every research project in the BioInnovation Group's Lab, meets with team leads to help them find and enter competitions, publications, and other academic opportunities. In charge of developing BIG’s connections with various groups on campus. Also serving as BIG’s financial liaison by helping the club and individual research teams apply for various grants.
