Nominated by members of the DePauw community and appointed by the University President to host distinguished lecturers, alumni and guests of the University. A position for the First Year Experience that programs and educates incoming mentors on how to establish a healthy relationship with incoming first year students. This position mentors the mentors to show how to approach or what to be aware of when providing a well-rounded experience in college. Conducted campus tours for prospective students and faculty. Answered any questions and give insight about what the campus has to offer. An elected position by the student body working with eight other executive board members. Consulted with the Executive Student Body President and Vice President to manage campus groups, plan activities, and allocate club funds in order to have a positive impact on the students, faculty, and staff. Responsible for a group of fifteen students during their first year of college, by providing support and assurance as a peer advocate for their academic and social success. Fish cardiomyocyte regeneration research in Dr. Pascal Lafontant's lab performing heart extraction, sectioning, and staining.
