      • Founded the outreach program Engineering Practices in Color (EPIC) to provide multi-sensory STEM activities to middle school students with dyslexia.• Designed a systematic STEM curriculum with over 20 lesson plans for year-long workshops attended by over 400 students.• Taught the STEM curriculum to the students at STEM workshops, translating complex concepts in interesting ways.• Secured funding for EPIC workshops through American Society of Cell Biology’s Public Engagement Grant.• Managed budget, created expense and progress reports, and presented EPIC’s impact biannually to funding sources.• Recruited, trained, and managed a team of 15 STEM instructors to assist at the EPIC workshops.• Procured facilities and supplies, organized schedule, and implemented contingency plan with virtual EPIC workshops during COVID-19.• Acquired a trademark for Engineering Practices in Color through the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
