The main aim being to, firstly to encourage farmers and landowners to improve habitats for birds on their land and then to create a positive image amongst farmers for the RSPB. Further includes a regional survey of bird species occurring on applicant farms to facilitate application to the Environmental Stewardship Grant Scheme.
