  During the 2016 General Election I participate in my work experience campaigning for Mary Lou McDonald in my constituency. I had various roles including field organizing work such as canvassing and distributing campaign literature and also helping to prepare reporting documents for submission to regulatory bodies , processing contributions and partaking in social media posts. The skills I inherited during my work experience were next to none. I learnt an understanding of society and culture , the ability to think clearly using logic and reasoning , to be thorough and pay attention to detail, political strategy and digital strategy.While my skills had already increased ten - fold , I saw major improvement in my verbal and written communication skills as well as my research skills. The general people skills and connections I built during my time at Sinn Féin’s office I will be forever grateful for. Show less

  I began working in this well known , busy bar as a lounge boy before being promoted to bartender. During summer holidays , I worked up to 40 hours a week, I gained great responsibly during my time there and I learned the true meaning of hard work.
