      Project:Fabrication, characterization, and reactivity of Bioelectrodes.• Heme cofactor of myoglobin was modified using simple organic synthesis. The apoprotein was then reconstituted with the modified cofactor. Then the reconstituted heme protein was covalently attached to the thiol SAM containing gold electrode surface using “click” chemistry.• Investigated the electrocatalytic oxygen reduction reaction kinetics of the modified heterogeneous electrocatalyst.
