    • Musculoskeletal Regenerative Engineering Lab of Dr. Justin Brown

      Jan 2018 - Dec 2018
      WISER Undergraduate Researcher

My research role required the use of common cell culture practices to investigate human mesenchymal stem cells (hMSCs) behavior in Dr. Justin Brown's Musculoskeletal Regenerative Medicine lab. This lab seeks to investigate various biomaterial surfaces to manipulate the proliferation of hMSCs for the design of enhanced musculoskeletal tissues. My research investigated various cell differentiation and calcification patterns in response to changing cell culture medias and environments. In doing so, I utilized brightfield microscopy and high-resolution imaging to track experimental progress. Show less
