  Divers engineering project leadership.Leading all engineering projects seating and interiors for customers Mercedes, Smart and Mitsubishi. Integrating former Becker Group engineering into our team. This consisted of up to 300 engineers at 5 locations and a total budget beyond 50 million dollar. Implementing knowledge management technics to drive to design for functionality, manufacturing feasibility and cost target. Realization of Challenge ‘A’ project.Leading special Mercedes product cost improvement project including the engineering and program management. The achieved target was a life time saving of 250 million DM at 50 million DM budget for development and production tools. Seat system development for new Mercedes platform.Re-develop the seat system for Mercedes A-Class and support the production start. This required many product changes even after start of the production tooling and equipment. Lead engineer for seating ‘FORD-6000’ program.Develop and launch as a front seat lead engineer our first European complete seat program. Seat application were for Ford Escort and Fiesta at 5 different production locations. Innovation and seat component development.Project leader for seat component development. BMW seat cushion VAVE project. Development of new seat cushion suspension system including test applications for customers Mercedes, Opel and VW.

  Founding of an automotive technology Center in East Europe.Build up and leading the biggest Engineering Center for automotive complete interior in Trencin, Slovakia with up to 560 engineers and a budget responsibility above 20 Million Dollar. Serving divers customers, externally and internally in Europe and partially globally. Develop seat systems, seat components and interior modules in low cost country (LCC). BMW, Mercedes, Ford, Skoda, VW, Kia, Renault, Fiat were our main customers. Identify and develop the local leadership team. Represent the company in public (Conference presentations and Media) and in front of government (Ministry of Economy, American Embassy, American Chamber of Commerce). Show less
