  Statistical Analysis of Demonetisation Effects & Cashless Transactions

  Our project entitled DEMONETIZATION EFFECTS AND CASHLESS TRANSACTIONS consists of the views of our university students on various questions. This report has four parts namely Identification, Demonetization effects, Cashless Transactions and Knowledge, Attitude and Practices (KAP) study. We collected data through the questionnaires from both the campuses (Patna and Gaya) of our university. The data set consists of the views of UG, PG and M.Phil./Ph.D. students. In this study We analyzed the responses and summarized the results of this project. Our analysis suggests that most of the people favoured the demonetization done by Government of India. Although there was some level of discomfort during demonetization period, they considered the demonetization as a good move to curb the corruption and to reduce the terrorist funding, drug trafficking and other serious illegal operations in India.
