WGU's program covers Learning Experience Design (Design Thinking and instructional design models, processes, and approaches), assessment models, learning analytics, emerging learner technologies, and e-learning design (including delivering a fully functional e-learning module). The program concludes with a Capstone project where I apply what I've learned to a real-world professional environment, creating an e-learning solution based on identified learned needs and then evaluating impact.
