Expanding robust relationships and building community resilience that inspires people to foster social cohesion, unite against divisive forces and come together in times of need. Community resilience means proactively building and maintaining strong and cooperative networks across communities and sectors that can solve problems, respond to challenges and actively promote social cohesion. This sense of resilience operates across the full continuum of risk mitigation to support community Preparedness, Prevention, Response and Recovery. My role as the Strategic Communications Advisor for community resilience programming and projects is to develop communications strategies for their successful planning and implementation. Show less
