In this role, I served as a member of the corporate leadership team, participating in the forward planning for the company’s review of future acquisitions in Denver and Los Angeles and throughout Houston and Austin. I presented annual marketing plans to the management team and to investors (Colony Capital).I contributed to the company growth from 200 to 400 people during my tenure, with annual revenue exceeding $500M and annual sales of ~$300M. My marketing role was critical to the company’s business model, which created premium-priced housing by tailoring it to what homebuyers truly wanted but was not readily available in the market. This new business model produced annual returns on investment that consistently ranged from 20%-25%.Each project had a golf course component.
