  Over the course of three summers I programmed and facilitated activities to promote the personal growth of campers. I impacted children through team building and educational exercises. I provided constructive evaluations and feedback for over 100 leaders and counselors in training.

  In my role, I supervised a team dedicated to crisis counseling and support for clients facing emotional distress due to disasters. I enhanced the scheduling process to ensure consistent helpline coverage and organized and led monthly meetings for our crisis counselors. Additionally, I conducted weekly reviews of transcripts, providing feedback to maintain high standards of quality assurance. I provided crisis counseling in congruity with crisis intervention skills and training. During crisis contacts, I reported any claims of abuse and imminent risk for suicide to my immediate supervisor. After crisis contacts, I documented all client notes, demographics and contact outcomes.

  Leader in Training Director

  I designed and facilitated three-week programs to promote leadership skills among Leaders in Training (LITs) ranging in age from fourteen to seventeen. On a daily basis, I supervised and administered instructional sessions that promoted new social and educational skills for LITs. I created original informational sessions to educate both LITs and staff members about mental health and self care. I consistently administered constructive criticism and feedback to both LITs and staff members through both written and oral evaluations. Show less
