Its inception in 2021 under the code-name of CholecTriplet2021 schemes to the presence, detection (or simply, recognition) of action triplets directly from surgical videos. The current edition, CholecTriplet2022, organized by an 8-person committee from the Research Group CAMMA, advances the previous edition to also include the bounding box localization of regions of action triplet’s likelihood in laparoscopic videos.
