Daily maintenance and operation of plant instrumentation equipmentResponsibilities: I designed the plant IFC drawings as per project requirements, specifications, system integration for PLC, process control automation, and submitted to the Consultant for approval. I was responsible for reviewing and approving the contractor's submittals, technical queries, Field change documents and other technical documents including Drawings and As-Builts. I lead the testing and commissioning, and configuration of instruments as per ISA and BS standard for cables routing, cable terminations, cables Loop testing, instrument calibration PLC /DCS networking and programming and HMI system configuration. I managed the daily maintenance activities of the plant instrumentation and control equipment. I was responsible for programming of Siemens PLCs S7-300 and S7-200 as per plant requirements, implementing preventive maintenance/Plant Shutdown/Plant breakdown activities, Issuing Permit to work (PTW)/Closing Procedures, Safety Procedures, Preparation of Spare part lists & Performing Quality Control Procedures etc. I was always in Coordination with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders involved in foundation works and automation installation. It was my responsibility to Ensure require permits and licenses are in place prior to the start of the specific work at site. I arranged the training plan for trainee engineers and technicians. I lead a team 2 Engineers, 4 Foreman and 10 Technicians. Design submissions include scope of works (SoW), specifications, drawings, and bill of quantities (BoQ). I am responsible for technical review and evaluation of Tender submissions. I review shop-drawings, material submittals, as-built drawings submitted by the Contractor against the Contract drawings, and applicable local and international standards, and best practices. I attend weekly meetings with the Project Contractor and Design Consultants, to discuss progress, compliance with Client requirements, Contracts, safety standards, and quality. I prepare response to Request for Information (RFIs) from the Contractor, monthly progress reports, minutes of meetings etc. I review and validate design calculations and analysis such as voltage drop calculations for cable sizing, electrical single line diagrams, transformer sizing and electrical network architecture. I lead a team 2 Engineers and 3 CAD Technicians.
