  As a server at an upscale restaurant, I was expected to perform in a professional manner. My duties included memorizing and reciting daily dinner specials, drink specials and desserts. I also set the tables to fit the fine-dining atmosphere as well as gave my tables wine service when they ordered a bottle of wine. Of course, I was also expected to communicate with my table, the bar and the kitchen and deliver food and drinks in a timely, professional way.
