      Community development programme

      I was responsible for the planning, implementation and monitoring and evaluation of World Vision's holistic development programme in (21) communities of Thabaung Township. We implemented community-based activities with aims to promote health, education and livelihoods opportunities of the community members. Disaster management was another component, that I worked on, which significantly helped the communities which are vulnerable to flooding.       I worked with and assisted the specialists on economic policy, environmental management and climate change and provided assistance to them in collecting necessary data and sourcing relevant experts/consultants for UNDP's focus thematic issues. I worked also as a research assistant for my supervisors who, at that time, worked to produce development-related policy papers for Myanmar.
