      May 2010 - Jul 2013
      Summer Camp Staff

During my four summers working at this youth and family camp, I filled many roles, including work crew member, counselor, high adventure staff, and leader of wilderness canoeing and backpacking trips. This provided me with many leadership, planning, and team building opportunities, especially as I organized and led trips and classes for both kids and adults in various areas of outdoor recreation including canoeing, backpacking, mountain biking, and high adventure (climbing wall, high ropes course, and zip line). Jan 2011 - May 2014
      Teacher's Assistant in Biology

Teacher's Assistant for both Human Anatomy and Physiology (100 level) and Systems Physiology (400 level) courses. This job included tutoring students individually and in groups, teaching labs, and proctoring written and practical exams. Both of these courses utilized the PowerLab USB data acquisition devices by ADInstruments. Coupled with computers running the LabChart software, this system allows a wide variety of electrophysiology experiments and demonstrations to be performed. I instructed students in the use of this system to perform EEGs, EMGs, ECGs, spirometry, and many other applications as well. Show less
