    • Cornerstone Security Systems Limited

      Aug 2016 - Sept 2016
      Student Internship

I have worked for Cornerstone Security Systems, a small company specialising in security and safety systems, on two occasions. In 2015 I completed a week of work experience in which I assisted engineers in the set up and repair of security systems for some of their clients as well as helping the operations team with the organisation of engineers and testing of new software. They invited me back for four weeks in 2016 to work as part of their operations team. I worked directly with clients and organised the engineers to ensure all the works were completed. I also had to understand some of the financial side of the business by filing invoices and confirming pricing with clients. This gave me a real insight into how small engineering firms operate, helped me learn how to work as part of a team and taught me how to interact with clients as well as engineers and technicians Show less
