  Key Responsibilities & Achievements• Designed and implemented a GPS-based timing synchronization system using PXIe hardware (PXIe-1082, PXI-6683H, PXIe-6341/6143) and LabVIEW for high-precision data acquisition.• Achieved a timestamp accuracy within 15 ms when synchronized with the engineering station’s internal clock and improved timing accuracy to 0.9 μs using GPS timestamps with 1Hz external triggers.• Achieved a 99.999% improvement in timing accuracy (from 15 ms to 10 ns) by implementing GPS-based clock synchronization, enabling nanosecond-level precision for critical data acquisition systems.• Synchronized multiple PXIe systems by routing 10MHz and 1PPS signals, enabling scalable data acquisition setups.• Developed LabVIEW VIs for real-time data acquisition, GPS time-stamping, and signal visualization, automating data logging into TDMS/Excel formats.• Delivered a technical presentation to faculty and industry experts, receiving commendations for clarity and innovative problem-solving.Soft Skills• Team Collaboration: Worked with engineers to troubleshoot hardware-software integration.• Problem-Solving: Resolved synchronization errors through iterative testing.• Technical Communication: Simplified complex concepts for diverse audiences.• Time Management: Balanced project milestones with academic commitments.• Adaptability: Quickly learned NI-Sync and PXIe architecture.Impact: Enhanced IPR’s plasma physics research capabilities with nanosecond-level synchronization.
