Hydrothermal synthetic routes were applied to synthesize un-doped and W-doped VO2 powder. The same synthetic routes were employed to deposit undoped VO2 films on uncoated and metal oxide coated glasses, during the hydrothermal reaction process. Both films and powders were characterized by X – Ray Diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), UV/Vis/NIR Spectrophotometer and Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC). The W-doped VO2 powder showed a reduced critical transition temperature which was subject to the W content. Show less
