  • Define the strategy and guiding group executive committee through platform business model and the playbook to deliver the desired new business model, aligned to future growth.• Establish an innovation incubator to grow value opportunities beyond the existing business model.• Define the digital technology transformation roadmap in complement to the future platform business, and drive the implementation of the plan into the existing execution capacity.• Define technology transformation and mobilise the execution of technology transformation. As part of this work build out groups Cloud Centre of Excellence – defining groups Cloud strategy (Hybrid Multi-Cloud, for AWS and Azure), setting up governance, skills, operations and productionising first operational Cloud loads. This representing an initial R12m investment yielding R46m of Total Economic Impact after 12 months. In complement to transforming the technology debt, framed and mobilised the application transformation, which will reduce application footprint by 30% over three years, drive adoption of Salesforce as strategic technology platform, and opening up savings of R50m to support future investments. • Drive establishment of Enterprise Data Platform for Liberty group, as a centralised Cloud hosted solution set, serving as Cloud foundation in overall Cloud migration strategy making data accesible via services. This initiative is building on my previous role where I spearheaded the group’s data and analytics effort, delivering a data centric architecture, and initial big data capability via Hadoop. Show less
