  I joined the company as a marketing manager with the goal of turning its financial around. The company was a trader of medium-low teak indoor-outdoor furniture, but it had been operating at a loss due to bad management.I started by redesigning the company's website and creating email marketing campaigns. I also visited potential customers and generated documents. These efforts resulted in the company getting orders from customers in Germany, Hong Kong, Russia, and Lebanon in the first year.In the following years, we were able to get orders from customers in Belgium, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Singapore, Italy, Malaysia, and Taiwan.   I started my own manufacturing business of coconut shell charcoal briquettes in 2012. I was responsible for all aspects of the business, from marketing and product development to sourcing materials and financial management. I was able to attract customers from all over the world, including Czech Republic, Sweden, Lebanon, Oman, USA, Cyprus, New Zealand, Hungary, and Spain. However, the business was not successful and I incurred a large loss. I had to close the business after 5 years.I learned a lot from this experience. I learned the importance of market research, financial planning, and customer service. I also learned the importance of being flexible and adaptable in a changing market.
