  As Legal Support Manager, I oversaw the wellbeing and management of approximately 25 legal assistants across three practice groups, reporting to the National Legal Support Manager. As part of this role, I was responsible for championing and implementation of the firm’s matter management procedures, liaising with partners and legal staff regarding legal support needs and changes, as well as managing legal support (short and long term) leave and appropriate cover.   In my role as Legal Operations Manager, my primary purpose is to manage and coordinate the confidential business of the Legal Services Unit and provide a diverse range of operational management to ensure the legal practice management duties are effectively supported and delivered. I enjoy keeping 'a finger on the pulse' to deeply understand and be able to support legal work, needs and challenges.
