  Roderic Guigó´s Lab I was in charge of the limphoblastic cell model developed in Dr Thomas Craft´s lab based on B lymphocytes reprogrammable to macrophages used as a therapeutic approach for leukemia and lymphoma cancer. Cancer stem cells of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) force to diferenciate with CEBPa transcription factor acting as a tumor suppressor. Differentiation induction approach applied to the therapy of B cell neoplasms. I used this model in three projects:1.A next generation sequencing ERC project which main goal was to study the transcriptomics during the transdifferentiation of a B lymphoma into a macrophage cell.2. Funtional studies of lncRNA during transdifferentiation of a reprogrammable B cell line into macrophages. knockdown with siRNA retrovirus and analyses with flow citometry3.Functional evolution of regulatory lncRNAs in the human lineage.knockdown of specific lncRNA with exiqon gapmers and qPCR analyses Designed and performed experimental work. Interaction with collaborators from Cold Spring Harbour Lab (NY, USA). Statistical data analyses using specific software ( FlowJo, Image J, Adobe Photoshop).
