      Yanapuma is non profit organization with two offices in Ecuador. One of the projects they fund is sustainable tourism in small indigenous communities. They obtain the funds by teaching Spanish to international travelers in both of their locations. My internship consisted in sourcing housing options for those students who did not choose to take the home-stay option offered by the organization. I interviewed with over 15 lodging organizations (hostels, mid scale hotels and luxury resorts), and obtained sponsorship from this properties, as well as extended stay and group rates. Show less
