  Support Center Elizabeth City, NC - Planning, design and construction of over 20 capital and renovation projects on a 900-acre, 110-building (1 million square foot) military installation. Required a high level of coordination between contractors, architects, engineers, base engineering and five tenant commands on an active military/municipal airfield, training facility and aircraft maintenance depot. Supervised three engineers and a 40-journeyman maintenance crew. Maintenance and Logistics Command Atlantic - Planner and program manager for the construction and shore improvement program for all Atlantic Area Coast Guard facilities. Supervised the efforts of field engineering units. Program Manager for the Caretaker Force on Governors’ Island, NY. Executed a $7 million annual operating budget and managed 60 military and a civilian crew. U. S. Coast Guard Cutter VALIANT - Department Head and Division Officer on a medium endurance cutter leading missions of search and rescue, counter-drug, immigration enforcement, fisheries law enforcement, and maritime safety. Participated in 1996 Olympic Games Security, Space Shuttle rescue support, and the Haitian/Cuban migration crisis.
