       I coordinated several areas from central Engineering to release new projects by estimating cost for tooling, equipment and labor.  I developed PFD, PFMEA, Control Plan, DFM, Motion Kaizen, and released projects to plant after PPAP Completion.  I kicked off HES (58 PNs) products for an annual income of $4 Million Dollars, and saved $40K in packaging.  I Kicked off BAS+project for Singapore, for an annual income of $900,000 USD.  I transferred production line from vendor KMC to Anahuac plant for annual savings of $50,000USD and transferred tooling to Centec I for injection with cost reduction over $40,000 USD. I kicked off all connectors for GMX386 2009, GMT360 2008 and GMX 511/521 harnesses. I replaced 6 components from TYCO in GM’s harnesses for revenue over 1,000,000 USD.        Coordinate manufacturing and quality areas for steel chairs, upholstery and grills programs release according to ANSI - BIFMA Standards.  I created the PFD, PFMEA, Control Plan and VSM for the whole plant process including visual aids, WIS and developed product and process audits.  I trained all employees on lean manufacturing concepts and I was the leader for kaizen events.  Suppliers development for new equipment design and build to meet labor requirements.  I reduced cycle time from 50 to 30 seconds in riveting (bottle neck).  I minimized the waste of powder paint a 30%. I redesigned layout and reduced from 45 blue collar to 24 operators minimizing our area occupancy and labor cost per part. I redesigned whole conveyor and hooks for material management from assembly, paint and oven, eliminating paint rework of products (cost and re-process).        I implemented a lean manufacturing project to improve man-hour/part increasing productivity and equipment availability, reducing scrap in core, assembly, molding and machining areas.  I trained up to 180 operators, technicians and employees in Lean six sigma methodologies. Coordination of Kaizen workshops. SMED, 5’s, and TPM implementation during the whole project. Setup time from 1 day to 2.5 hours in molding area working on a SMED, classifying internal/external activities and 5S implementation in area.  Improved takt time for big and small core making process, from 40 to 15 and 30 to 18 seconds  Cleansing time for core tooling improved from 8 hours to 1.5 hours.        I managed engineering changes, new products release, military and special orders for all assembly plants in USA by coordinating multi-disciplinary team (PC&L, Engineering, HR and Quality), I obtained a reduction of 86% scrap generated on obsolete material by negotiating and planning dates to implement a change with our customer either holding a change or charging them the obsolescence cost. I improved all manufacturing process coordinating IEs to maintain and improve all areas performance using lean manufacturing tools, reducing rework in one welding and assembly area on 93% and reducing movement redesigning layout in 3 more areas on an 86% of walking and raw material movement time. I reached a 100% compliance of all areas in plant, blue and white collars on 5S audits, I trained all blue collars in 5S and lean, and implemented a program of contest to find every month best 5S area with no open activities detected.        Leader of industrialization for new facility in Saltillo, MX, main contact with Head Quarters in MX for project launch with a 5.5 M USD budget including prototype phase. Made the whole analysis of assembly process to define equipment and methods to build FEMs for FCA; based on takt time I executed MTM studies to define headcount and amount of Work stations. I defined the SPEC Sheets for assembly equipment; quoted, compared, and selected vendor together with purchasing; I also developed 2 local vendors for equipment and automation. I Purchased service equipment such as CMM machine, air compressors and emergency power generators.  I developed engineering documentation such as PFD, PFMEA, WI’s and CP-CPK studies. I created Layout of facility and defined all line side presentation for raw material in PFEP. I trained all Blue Collar operators in all stations and achieved a full PDR approved by FCA. I reduced headcount from 22 to 17 BC operators, eliminating ergonomics problems in 3 stations. I implemented and improved E-MODE (emergency) reducing setup time from 46min to 16 to restart production, making offline programs and torque setup connecting to main PLC.
