  Worked in a team of 30 engineers to design, build, and test a single seat internal combustion racecar. Responsible for a team of 6 students in the design of a removable wiring harness for entire vehicle, improving ease of electrical repairs. Configured dashboard to display shift lights, sensor values, engine temperature, battery voltage, and warnings. Ran the social media platforms for the internal combustion racecar team with photos, blogs, and website updates. Informing our audience about future events and fundraising. Member of Human Interface subgroup. Worked on fabricating and creating a carbon fiber layup for front wing, heel rest, and the seat. Worked on other parts of the car with such as the Runner G's for the engine intake, profiling tubes for suspension, electronics setup and dashboard, and precision sanding mold layups.

  Worked with a team of 20 engineers to host over 20 engineering outreach events for elementary, middle, and high schools. Went to local high school visits to share more about the engineering field and major. Visits Woodbury Elementary School every week to assist elementary students with STEAM projects. Designed the construction of a wind tunnel to demonstrate the type of work done in each major.   Worked on a team of four engineers as the Bandsaw Guide UX Design Team with Laguna Tools to design a new bandsaw upper and lower guide making access to the lower guides more accessible and quicker to adjust. Iterated and prototyped designs to make improvements. Designed an operator that would allow the guides to work in all configurations with the tilted table and improved the design of the bandsaw guides while making them interchangeable with the current guide.

  Laboratory Assistant

  Managed and oversaw three mechanical engineering workspace labs at UC Irvine during open lab. Worked with students to design and build class parts and ensured safety when using power tools such as the bandsaw and drill press. Opened and closed the lab after work hours.
