Working in a challenging and complex country/operation during the implementation of the 2016 LCRP (Lebanon Crisis Response Plan) has broadened my knowledge of UNHCR systems and programmatic delivery in general and has instilled a deep understanding of the different sectors’ strategies, objectives and operational capacities. Among others, I attended various working groups that gave me exposure to the different projects implemented in Lebanon, and I had the opportunity to understand how decisions are made and activities improved. I have also attended meetings with donors that contributed in giving me a good idea about their requirements and priorities and the limitations faced by the different organizations to meet them. Lastly, I have learnt how to use RAIS (Refugee Assistance Information System) and Activity Info, online inter-agency data platforms used by most humanitarian partners in the country.
