  Project Description:The Canal Sugar Beet Sugar Factory project aims to establish a state-of-the-art beet sugar factory with a daily reception capacity of 48,000 tons and beet slicing capacity of 36,000 tons generating white sugar output of 5,700 tons daily during the beet season.The project is to construct and install an integrated beet sugar factory including engineering works (Conceptual, Basic & Detailed design), Procurement of Equipment, Construction activities, commissioning and start-up of the plant.The project includes several buildings and structures such as housing complex, weighing bridges, beet sampling and laboratory, beet storage area, white sugar storage silo, sugar bagging station, high voltage sub-station, low pressure boilers station, water treatment plant, waste water plant, ponds, etc - Job Responsibilities : - Close Monitor and Follow-Up with Contractors, Suppliers and Vendors - Co-ordinate with other PMT members to ensure that multi-discipline interfaces are properly addressed with resolution of any technical issues - Ensure that the engineering work at home office and site is executed in accordance with approved work processes, codes and standards - Monitor and oversee the site Construction Contractor’s compliance with all statutory obligations, standards and codes of practice - Co-ordinate between PMT Construction, Procurement, Project Controls, etc. Show less
