  Since my retirement, I have had the pleasure to learn from and share ideas with two outstanding international SMEs, namely GoPro in Reykjavik, Iceland and Kapia in Leeds, UK. In addition, I had the honour to serve on the British Academy of Management Advisory Board for Diversity and Inclusion in Further Education which led to their impactful report on this important topic. Furthermore, I am keeping my brain ticking over by writing about my invaluable insights from academia, industry, government and meeting people from around the world.
