Scheels helped show me how a sales position works and the importance of customer service when it comes to selling. As my first sales job the most valuable lesson I learned is understanding what you are selling and why you are selling it. Sales reps typically get a bad rep for wanting to sell people things they don't need but this job completely changed my mind on that as I understood the importance of sharing product knowledge and assisting customers in making the right decision. Working with multiple personalities and products experts I knew I wanted to make a career out of mortgage and assist as many borrowers as I could.
