    • Siemens

      Aug 2006 - Sept 2016

Managed a sales volume >R1,5B across South East Africa. Staff complement in sales of 65 (Regional, vertical, SI’s, SBM’s, Distributors and SADC countries) while still managing the Process Automation BU with a staff complement of 45. My successes within this role were improved culture, reduced staff turnover, and successful implementation of the Siemens Sales Systematics program. This enabled me to achieve a 16% year-on-year growth for Siemens. Grew the business from R45m to R250m (with a workforce complement of 15 to 45) in 7years. Was the only business unit to have achieved budget in 2015. Reduced inventory from R16M to R5M and improved overall cash flow. This performance led to stretched assignments of Head of Partner Management (all sales channels) and then Head of Sales for SADC. While in this role I managed to double sales volumes, in one full financial year since taking over, for financial year 2007 from R10million to R20million. This was a remarkable achievement in a year where all other businesses remained constant (flat line). This led to my promotion to head of department.

Managed a sales volume >R150m (11mUSD) with a staff complement of >65 (incl. 20 blue-collar workers). My success in this role was being awarded the largest mining project in Sub Saharan Africa, in 2018 for the RBM Zulti South project (30mZAR), against much stronger competitors like Siemens and ABB. A sterling effort from a grand sales performance, along with sound costs management principles, led me to being promoted to Regional Director Middle East & Africa (MEA).
