  Established in 1985, Sunjewels is a manufacturer and 100% exporter of diamond and gold jewellery from three factories in Seepz, Mumbai. We employ 1,100 people and sell to over 25 countries globally, Recognized as a member of the World Economic Forum, received the Best Operations award out of 2,000 family owned businesses, WalMart and RJC certified, and consistently rated as SME1 from CRISIL, our factories are designed on Kalzen principals and operate on the SAP software. My Responsibilities:* Organize and manage material flows in the end-to-end process (from sales order to receipt of material by the customer).* Ensure that the products are available at the right time, place and quantity* Take the lead in case of any (potential) critical supply disruptions.* Set up processes in such a way to have a proper flow for receipt, storage, issue and dispatch of materials.* Implementation of Detailed Planning and Scheduling* Reduction in non-moving stocks* Conducting the Daily Co-ordination Meeting with procurement, customer care and production team to sort out the issues if any determined relating to production or procurement get discussed and will be resolved to maintain good graph in smooth production and avoiding problems.* To ensure continuous improvement in planning process to minimize cost* Delivering forecasted and planned quantity of production outputs SKU wise on a monthly basis ensuring market service levels as defined.* Determining ways and means to improve plant productivity / efficiencies and drive cost efficiencies (tangible) and bring about overall reduction in the cost of production.* To ensure capacity utilization, line and labor productivity and plan for capacity expansions* Directly accountable for development of employees reporting to me and next level.
