      This company hired me as an oce clerk in 2002, but they quickly realized my talents were better utilized working on graphics. I quickly learned the basics of graphic design and completely changed the path of the company. Coincidentally, this is where I discovered my love of type, graphics, and art in general.• Forged the company into an “in-house” all-in-one advertising agency with a focus on print and web design.• Created all policies and procedures for the graphic design department to streamline productivity and accuracy.• Developed and managed brands for Fortune 500 companies, such as Waste Connections, Inc.• Mentored and trained junior designers.• Mastered pre-press techniques to ensure a quality output and minimize printing delays.• Built and updated websites for clients using CSS, PHP, and HTML. This included designing and implementing 3 KVIE Literacy • Corners and the new vehicle wraps for the KVIE filming fleet.• Collaborated with other departments to build sub-brands for new programming, fundraising, and member services to appeal to our target demographics and increase the KVIE market share.• Created promotional materials for our leadership giving department, and fundraising events, such as postcards, invitations, posters, and digital marketing graphics. Many of these special events would sell out in less than 48 hours due to these collateral pieces.• Selected features to be promoted in the monthly Masterpiece/Drama and NOVA/Science e-newsletters, then designed and scheduled the newsletters for disbursement using Eloqua.
